Hi, I'm Loe 🌸

Loe is an award-winning art director & illustrator in New York City. She initially explored design as a way to combat insomnia, often portraying calming palettes and dreamlike subject matter. She has since then extended her escapism themes into narrative and people-centered illustration. Her love of creatures and storytelling spur from childhood where she was surrounded by art of Chinese spiritualism and folklore in her grandparents' home. Growing up, she fell in love with comics, manga, and animated films, fueling her love for drawn media.

In the design industry, Loe specializes in branding, digital media, editorial, and 360° campaign development. Her work appears in major projects and campaigns for: Coca-Cola, Scholastic, Google, The Democrats, VICE, and many more. She enjoys giving talks and workshops to local programs, corporate events, and creative festivals. However, her favorite projects revolve around Chinatown (NYC), the neighborhood her family immigrated to in the 1960's.

Currently: Loe is a designer and illustrator at Meta. She is also drafting a novel series she has been developing for seven years.
