VICE x Dickies Documentary (2022)
I was the senior designer and art director on VICE Media Group’s Commercial and Brand Partnership Department, acting in-between an agency and internal team. I worked with global clients and VICE directors to create show package graphics, editorial pieces, and digital assets that serve as integrated advertising campaigns. Our goal is to create pieces that marry VICE-brand aesthetics with our client’s brand guidelines, all the while navigating clients’ needs while also encouraging them to push their design boundaries. For the Dickies Film, I worked with Director Sarah Brennan Kolb to create the show package graphics for the 2022 Dickies documentary. The documentary centers on three stories that embody the concept of American grit. We went with a modern meets grunge-y (almost vampiric) Western for the direction.
